Sylvia Roth is a well-known painter and master printer. Her award-winning print work for prominent artists – among them John Beerman, Richard Hennessey, Alphonse Ossorio, Gary Stephan, Mary Jo Vath, Paul Benney, Joel Carrerio, Cliff Enright, Anne Poor, Martin Wong, April Gornik, Milton Resnick, John Chamberlain, Grace Hartigan, and Jonathan Ellis – is represented in collections across the country, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institute, the Walker Center, and the Brooklyn Museum. Roth’s paintings of animals and landscapes have been exhibited in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
